Dosage and Timing:

For optimal results, Stamox should be consumed 2-3 hours before exercise. Mix with 200-500ml water.

Daily Training: Mix 1-2 tablespoons of Stamox in a glass of water. For longer sessions (more than 1 hour), you can take an additional 1 tablespoon of Stamox closer to the start of the training session.

Before a Race/Competition: Mix 2-3 tablespoons of Stamox in a glass of water. For endurance races (more than 1 hour), you can take an additional 3 tablespoons of Stamox closer to the start of the race.

Stamox Loading: To maximise the benefits before a race or significant training block, research suggests a loading phase by taking a competition dose of Stamox daily for 3-7 days leading up to the event.

For Daily Health: Mix a teaspoon up-to 1 tablespoon of Stamox in water, juice or in a smoothie daily.

Tips:

  • Avoid antibacterial mouthwash after taking Stamox as it kills oral bacteria needed to convert nitrates.

How does Stamox work:

Rich in dietary nitrates, antioxidants and other nutrients, Stamox enhances the body's nitric oxide (NO) production; leading to improved blood flow, oxygen efficiency, and reduced fatigue. For maximum effect, research suggests consuming Stamox 2–3 hours pre-workout.

Shortly after drinking Stamox, bacteria in your mouth start to convert some of this nitrate (NO₃⁻) into nitrite (NO₂⁻).

2 hour
Conversion of nitrate (NO₃⁻) into nitrite (NO₂⁻) in the mouth continues, and some of the swallowed nitrite is converted into nitric oxide (NO) which is a powerful vasodilator.

3 hour
The levels of nitrite may peak around 2-3 hours after ingestion, and you will experience the effects of increased NO, such as a increase in lung capacity, muscle power and focus.

4 hour
The peak levels of nitrate in your blood are still present, but may begin to decline depending on the amount of nitrate consumed. During longer rides, you can top-up with Stamox to ensure its prolonged peak.

Nitrate and Antioxidants Levels

The nitrate content in Stamox ranges from 1.3% to 1.7%, averaging 1.5% with a +/- 0.2% variance.

That means you're getting around 300 mg of nitrate in just two tablespoons.
