ITC is a known activator of NRF2, the body's master regulator system of stress. Activation of NRF2 prepares the body for physical stress, allowing it to better manage exercise and exhaustion. In training, it's linked to a reduction of lactate, oxidative stress, and faster training adaptations. It also improves your ability to handle high training loads, and recover faster.

Using ITC before intense training supports your body during demanding sessions - helping you get the most from every effort.

ITC as a performance enhancer

Isothiocyanates are a well-researched group of phytochemicals found in cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli. Since the 90's they've been known to produce a variety of positive health benefits. Due to their fragile nature, getting a high dose can be difficult through normal food. In Nomio, they're present in an amount corresponding to 2.5-3kg raw broccoli.

ITC is a known activator of NRF2, the body's master regulator of stress. Activation of NRF2 prepares the body to manage physical stress, allowing it to better handle free radicals created during exercise and exhaustion. In training, it's been linked to an average of 12% reduction of lactate at fixed intensity level. A sign of the body's improved ability to handle hard exercise.

During periods of hard training NRF2 pathways can be disrupted, causing slower training adaptations and mitochondrial damage. Taking ITC support these pathways, and gives a stronger signal to the body to produce more muscle fibres and mitochondria. In turn, this supports faster training adaptations and heightened fitness.

Nomio Consumption

Optimal consumption is 3 hours before your session, but with time constraints you may take it 2 hours before. Giving your body time to take up the ITC is key for maximized effect.
